EVPOWR LLC is a privately held New York limited liability company dedicated to developing a robust public electric vehicle (EV) charging network. We are neither contractors nor manufacturers or dealers of charging equipment. Our primary mission is to accelerate the deployment of commercial Level 2 charging infrastructure across Long Island.

We have assembled a highly experienced team of industry professionals who collectively drive our success. This includes equipment manufacturers, licensed electrical contractors, suppliers, engineers, consultants, trenchers, and directional boring specialists. We collaborate closely with our partners to deliver well-engineered, high-quality installations. Additionally, we actively monitor and manage installed chargers through advanced remote software, ensuring optimal performance and minimizing downtime.

Founder and President Michael Richter brings extensive expertise from leading utility consulting and contracting organizations. He has collaborated closely with PSEG Long Island, the Long Island Power Authority (LIPA), and Con Edison on the rollout of their commercial energy efficiency programs.

- In 2009, Mr. Richter led a team that launched Con Edison's Small Business Direct Install Program, overseeing the implementation of energy-efficient lighting upgrades for small businesses in Queens.

- In 2010, he partnered with LIPA to develop their Commercial Efficiency Program, later serving as one of their Prime Efficiency Partners and earning multiple performance awards.

In 2024, Mr. Richter shifted his focus to the growing demand for EV infrastructure, establishing EVPOWR LLC as a developer of public EV charging stations.
